Intern Spotlight: Sabrina Finn and Allison Jullie

Capsule is excited to introduce our newest team members, Design Intern, Sabrina Finn and Business Development and Marketing Intern, Allison Jullie! We learned more about them through a fun “mad lib” exercise. Check it out!

MEET SABRINA

What brings you to Capsule?

I joined Capsule this summer ready to immerse myself in a collaborative work culture and soak up as much knowledge as possible about graphic design and creative agency life!

What drew you to work in the design and marketing world?

I believe design is art with a purpose. I have always been an artistically-driven individual, so when I discovered design – specifically graphic – I instantly fell in love with the thoughtful & technical, yet also fluid, creative process.

The name is Sabrina, but you can call me Sab for short. I work at Capsule as a Graphic Design Intern, aka it’s my job to collaborate with the creative team to generate innovative solutions, cultivate unique brand identities that align with our clients’ values and beliefs and learn a whole lot while I am here! I’m from Plymouth, Minnesota, also known as the burbs and my background is in graphic design.

When I’m not at work you can find me watching anime, watercolor painting, or thrifting. My go to karaoke song is Heartache on the Dance Floor by John Pardi . My favorite brand is Bumble & Bumble – the only haircare brand that can tame my luscious locks! Something weird (but really cool) about me is that I desperately wanted to be a chocolatier when I was a child. One thing I’m particularly passionate about is practicing mindfulness & gratitude – I am still learning everyday!

If I could put one item into a time capsule to tell the future about what my life is like in 2024, it would be my white Fila Disruptor II sneakers.

MEET ALLISON

What brings you to Capsule?
Capsule’s brand identity, core values, and company culture perfectly align with what I was seeking career-wise. The work being done at Capsule is exactly what I have been looking to pursue post-grad. I feel incredibly fortunate to collaborate with a team of passionate professionals who are enthusiastic about mentoring me and fostering my career growth.

What drew you to work in the design and marketing world?

I wish I had an inspiring story to share, but the truth is, by the end of my second year of college, I was still "undecided" about my major. On a whim, I chose marketing and crossed my fingers. I’m so glad I did. I quickly fell in love with everything about it. I began to genuinely enjoy the classwork and projects, and I finally started looking forward to a career in the marketing world (whew – it would’ve been an expensive mistake if I had hated it).

My name is Allison Jullie. I work at Capsule as a Business Development and Marketing Intern, aka it’s my job to learn, learn, and learn (maybe have a little fun, too). I’m from Rogers, also known as ”where Cabelas is” and my background is in marketing and sales.

When I’m not at work you can find me shopping, for sure. My go to karaoke song is The Devil Went Down to Georgia. My favorite brand is Elf…I love their social media marketing. Something weird (but really cool) about me is I’ve rewatched Grey’s Anatomy probably like 12 times. One thing I’m particularly passionate about is retail therapy is very effective.

If I could put one item into a time capsule to tell the future about what my life is like in 2024, it would be my entire wardrobe, so I’d have a reason (and space) to buy all new clothes.
