Introducing the 'Designing Value' poster series!
The value of anything can seem arbitrary. To many, immense complexity of the “thing” of value can inhibit clarity surrounding its worth. Seeking to understand and then design value is the essence of how Capsule started, with the disciplines of research and design. For twenty-five years, we’ve applied our curious nature to many aspects of marketing, brand and design; seeking to understand and improve the value of quite the potpourri of “things.”
When someone asks, “25 years… how did you not only survive, but thrive for that many years?” The common factor we continuously came back to was our values and the important role they played in creating value for our clients. In our relationships with clients, partners, community and team members, and in the caliber of our creative thinking and work, values are what wove us together.
It might sound like an idyllic business fairy tale - it is not.
Our values remind us all again why we get up in the morning, to live up to these ideas and provide a shared framework to guide how we build lasting relationships and design impactful change. By discerning our values and having open conversations with our team, our clients, our partners and friends,it’s helped us discover who we are and focus on what ingredients matter the most to our being. Our identity as a Special Projects Agency was a natural outcome of articulating and living our values.
Introducing the ‘Designing Value’ Poster Series
So, there’s no better way to celebrate the next 25 years than to give our values the spotlight they deserve. Introducing the Designing Value Series: a six-part poster series featuring our six values: Curiosity, Simplicity, Flexibility, Thoughtfulness Collaboration and Education.
For the next 12 months, we’ll be launching a limited-edition screen printed poster visually unpacking one of our six values, each created by one of our talented team of designers.

All poster proceeds will benefit NEMAA, the Northeast Minneapolis Arts Association, a beloved non-profit organization in our backyard supporting local artists with resources, promotion and fellowship, and best known for its annual production of Art-A-Whirl.
