Pam York, is a Founding General Partner of Capita3, a venture capital group focused on the building and development of companies founded and led by women.
About the speaker
Pamela York is a serial entrepreneur, investor, and inventor with success in several high-tech industries. She is the co-founder and general partner of Capita3, a venture capital firm focused on investing in early stage startups in health sectors that are led by women entrepreneurs. Previously, Pam pioneered three technology platforms that went on to successful commercialization, and co-founded two venture capital backed startups, each with successful exits. Most recently she was Board Chair for CoreBiome Inc., a genomics services startup company launched in 2016 and acquired this past January by Orasure Technologies.
Pam has been building the venture capital ecosystem in the Midwest for over 10 years, and she recently turned her attention to the emerging opportunity of female founded startups where she's applying her experience in startup launch and transformational leadership development to turn founders into top startup CEO’s.
