Thoughtfulness is a special gift to the giver, a source of inspiration that builds upon itself. Deep empathy – for our clients and for their audience – is central to our work. And we only achieve it when we choose to celebrate thoughtfulness. We see thoughtfulness in kind gestures more than words. We see generosity in time more valuable than a traditional currency. We see our audience as humans, not shaded in other labels like consumer, shopper or user. We take great care in our work for our clients, their clients and the brands in our lives, but care alone isn’t enough. Thoughtfulness completes the circle that care begins.

The balance of research and design in Capsule’s origin story inspired our focus on thoughtfulness as a value. It keeps us humble yet focused, always looking to the greatness of others and giving the entire team praise for accomplishments large and small. Thoughtfulness is a sentiment we hope others feel from the creative work we’ve done together. And we look forward to completing the circle of thoughtfulness on every project in the future, one detail at a time.

Thoughtfulness. It is to consider deeply, act intentionally and take precious care of the matter at hand, bringing kindness and empathy to everything we do. When we immerse ourselves in life’s  details, absorb and learn from them, we emerge with a fuller picture of our world. 

This piece follows an empathetic mind at work, whose sub-characters weave their way through pathways and streams of consciousness. In a style emblematic of isometric illustrations which so carefully plan and inform the tangible matters they invoke, the designer of this poster intended to bring empathy into a mechanical, methodical space.

All poster proceeds will benefit NEMAA, the Northeast Minneapolis Arts Association, a non-profit organization in our backyard supporting local artists with resources, promotion and fellowship, and best known for its annual production of Art-A-Whirl.
