Amanda Cahow
The Regional Executive Director for ALSAC/St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital’s Upper Midwest Region, Amanda Cahow, took front and center stage on Thurs., September 19, 2019.
About the Speaker
Amanda Cahow is the Regional Executive Director for ALSAC/St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital’s Upper Midwest Region. Amanda and her team help donors and volunteers in Minnesota, Wisconsin, North Dakota, South Dakota and Iowa, fulfill their philanthropic goals through individual gifts, corporate activation and event-based fundraising, all in support of the world’s largest healthcare charity. Amanda has been in her current role for more than six years, and more than 12 years at ALSAC/St. Jude, but credits her six year career in radio as the catalyst to a truly fulfilling career, supporting an incredible mission. More than anything, Amanda loves making her team dress up in ridiculous costumes to make fools of themselves, and there isn’t a challenge she won’t accept (no matter how outrageous). Amanda graduated from the University of Wisconsin-River Falls with a degree in Mass Communications and enjoys lake life with her husband Bob and their two children, Brenner and Ellis.
About The Talk
Who are you? A question recently posed to the team at ALSAC/St. Jude sparked an internal journey forcing Amanda to evaluate what defines who she is and who she aspires to be. Amanda can answer this question by simply looking at her desk. Inspiration is all around us, what will we let it encourage us to do?
