Bert Taylor & Steve Corcoran
Bert Taylor and Steve Corcoran of Vistabule took the Think & Link stage on April 19, 2018.
About the speakers
Founded in 2011, Vistabule created a comfortable and incredibly cool trailer solution for travelers. While modeled after teardrop trailers originating from the 1930's, these are no grandparent trailer. Vistabule offers a welcoming and non-claustrophobic space that you would actually want to live in. With 100% Minnesotan-sourced materials and a factory in St. Paul, this brand is a local powerhouse, moving people and its innovative designs across the country.
Bert Taylor, Founder and Owner
Bert Taylor started Vistabule in 2011, combining his training in art and sculpture with his experience designing and building fine furniture and cabinetry. The result is a beautiful, highly functional camping trailer that has been called a work of art on wheels.
Bert has a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Painting and Sculpture from the University of Minnesota and over thirty years' experience as an entrepreneur, owning and operating several businesses. These include Waves of Grain Woordworking, which most notably designed and built the retail display and sales fixtures as part of Red Wing Shoe’s nationwide 100+ store brand refresh. He also developed and marketed a line of furniture called Furnucci. Vistabule Teardrop Trailers brings together Bert’s love of design and the outdoors with his interest in iconic teardrop trailers from the 1930's and 40's.
Steve Corcoran, General Manager
Steve Corcoran has been GM with Vistabule for almost 3 years. Leveraged prior management consulting experience across manufacturing, supply chain, retail and e-commerce to sustainably scale Vistabule’s business operations supporting sales growth of over 300%. This was accomplished along side continuous design improvements and new feature launches resulting in quality improvements, reduced production costs and increased ASP by over 20%.
