Stratasight
The Challenge
For more than a decade, RealTime Talent was a trusted source of workforce and talent research in Minnesota, turning complex labor-market data into actionable insights that public and private sector leaders can act on. Over that time, the organization grew from a neutral convener of data into an active partner that helped employers, educators, and policymakers solve real talent problems.
With a 10-year anniversary on the horizon and a recent move to independent nonprofit status, the timing was right for more than a messaging refresh. The name “RealTime Talent” sounded like a recruiting or staffing firm, not a research and consulting organization.
With services across need and industry, the brand was seeking an identity realignment that scaled to its offerings – and matched its new role as a trusted voice at the table of labor and talent in Minnesota.
The Solution
What started as a refresh became a full rebrand: a cohesive strategy, a new name, a complete visual identity, a messaging framework, and a communications system to express and enable the brand into the future.
Aligning on the Vision
Capsule worked closely with leadership and board members in an immersive discovery process to get clear on what the organization had grown into and its distinct value proposition: The organization that connects Minnesota’s workforce systems, bringing deep regional context, translated insight, and focus to the real needs of employers, policymakers, educators, and industry leaders – a unique vantage point built from a decade of research and networked relationships. Metaphors like a bridge, an interpreter, and a conduit became central drivers in the future strategy.
Naming a New Chapter
One conclusion became clear: the organization had outgrown its name. A new name and identity were needed to match the role it now plays.
Capsule developed and tested a range of name candidates, each checked for preliminary trademark conflicts. The team reviewed the finalists with trusted partners before landing on Stratasight Research and Consulting.
The name pairs strata – the layers of the workforce system, from policy to education to employer demand, and a play on strategy – with sight, the ability to see across those layers and turn them into a clear path forward, and play on insights delivered. It signals broader services and a more connected approach while staying rooted in the research and relationships built over ten years.
Modern Identity, Built as a System
The new identity centers on a layered geometric mark that reads as both a lens and a network, bringing a complex system into focus. Inspired by the landscapes of Minnesota, and deepened with texturized patterns and vivid photography, these supporting elements work together to give Stratasight an analytical yet approachable expression.
The Mark, in Focus
Comprised of layered shapes overlapping into one balanced form, the mark evolved from an early depiction of an eye into something more abstract and ownable. At the center sits a single pixel: the data point that anchors the whole visual system.
Rooted Color System
Forest green grounds the brand in Minnesota and signals professionalism; a brighter, energetic green pushes it into a more current, digital space. Sky blue and a soft, green-tinted gray round things out, giving the palette room to breathe — plus a dedicated eight-color palette built for clean, legible charts.
Distilling Complexity
Real Minnesota landscapes such as the North Woods, Lake Superior, and the Twin Cities skyline define the brand’s photography and graphic pattern system broken down into simple pixel blocks and rich duotone overlays.
That same geometry carries through in the mark's flowing outer ring and the rounded corners shared by every icon and container.
The elements come together to feel approachable, yet technical and clarifying.
Messaging Platform to Shape the Story
Stratasight speaks to employers, educators, policymakers, and community partners, each with different needs, but needed an org-wide storytelling foundation with which to introduce the brand. Our brand messaging strategy included a narrative pitch translating high-level strategy into an identifiable voice, creative headlines, and key messages to announce the purposeful rebranding decision.
Creative Assets Package for Evergreen Marketing
A full suite of marketing and comms templates helped prepare Stratasight to launch, maintain daily operations, and continue to build their brand.
• PowerPoint Slide Templates
• Brand and Audience-Tailored One-Pagers
• Letterhead Templates
• Business Card Design
• Printed Folder Design
• Research Report Templates
These assets helped evolve not only the way Stratasight would introduce and present itself to prospective nonprofits, industry partners, and employers, but helped the internal team put the brand’s system and messages to work, pressure testing use cases, showing flexibility, and creating consistent yet updatable guides for future production.
THE IMPACT
A full rebrand can feel like a major change — and at times, a risk. But when a brand outgrows its container, staying the course is the bigger risk.
Stratasight's commitment to the process, alongside Capsule's brand expertise, made this a partnership built on care and conviction.
The team walked away with:
• A name that lives up to the caliber of their work
• A clear, repeatable way to describe what they
uniquely offer
• A launch-ready toolkit to run with
More than that, the process gave the organization a chance to live, breathe, and believe in their new brand.
The Next Chapter Begins
Launched in early 2026 alongside their 10-year anniversary, Stratasight now has a new voice to share its story and evolution with current and prospective partners. We look forward to seeing the impact they continue to make across Minnesota's economy.
Testimonial
“As RealTime Talent prepared for its 10th anniversary and move to independent nonprofit status, we knew we had outgrown our brand, and Capsule helped us see clearly who we had become. Through a thoughtful discovery process with our leadership, board, and partners, we landed on Stratasight, a name and brand that reflects the depth of our research and consulting work, and Capsule then built a complete identity, messaging framework, and toolkit around it. Their strategic insight and genuine partnership made what could have felt like a risky change feel confident and exciting, and our team was ready to use the new brand from day one. We couldn’t have asked for a better team to help us tell our story.”
