Driving Home the Mission

A system grounded in three pillars, each character within the new mark reflects MRC’s core offerings: Peer-to-peer support, public education, and advocacy.

The brand logo and supporting visual system translates each pillar into a flexible, recognizable visual tools that work flexibly across physical and digital environments to tell a cohesive story.

Clarity Through Collaboration

To inform the brand’s direction, Capsule partnered with MRC’s staff, leadership, and community stakeholders. Together, we clarified the attributes that distinguish the brand within the recovery landscape and identified the values that guide how it serves. This collective input led to a refreshed brand foundation that articulated its distinct value, audience, and tone. 

Messaging with Consistency & Reach

A new messaging system– complete with headlines, tailored key messages, and a unifying narrative– equips MRC with a framework to communicate consistently with individuals seeking support, volunteers, donors, and the broader public. 

A hardworking visual system

Each visual element surrounding the mark– from color palette and iconography, to patterns and graphic forms– is built to convey warmth, optimism, and approachability. 

This comprehensive visual toolkit alongside guidelines for internal implementation gave MRC the structure needed for consistent, confident implementation and long term use.
