Designing a gift-worthy brand for any occasion

The Challenge

GOGO Flower is an innovative product that stylishly solves a unique problem. Crafted as an easier way to gift, transport and maintain healthy flower bouquets, the brand’s patented portable vase pouch blends form and function. However, the brand needed an expressive identity to communicate and engage its value proposition, and ultimately help bring its unique market position to bloom.

Capsule partnered up to reimagine its brand identity, packaging and messaging platform. Together we built an engaging educational experience with a design-forward, gift-worthy suite of product package graphics and headlines to suit any occasion or floral arrangement.

Starting with Strategy

Beginning with an exploratory brand strategy process, Capsule immersed in the floral space, defined the foundational positioning and key differentiators, developed tonal direction, core audiences and desired purchase behaviors that all Go Go Flower products should inspire. 

Brand Identity & Creative Concepting

The GOGO Flower logo evokes an abstracted flower design, balancing an emphasis on ‘GOGO’ to drive home the transportable nature, while also living elegantly as a decorative pattern.  

The bundled strategy inspired a collection of illustrative graphic pouch designs and creative headlines spanning holidays, occasions and “just because” moments. 

Balancing Information with Inspiration

Serving as both product and package, it was important to balance aesthetic and informational graphics carefully. 

As a new-to-market product, messaging its many unique aspects, like its ability to be attached to a car headrest for safe transport, flower food contents for longevity, or resealability and reusability all required a careful information hierarchy and salient language. 

Capsule experimented with discrete locations for brand and educational messaging that would maximize information and add unexpected delight. 

The Impact

GOGO Flower has been helping people carry fresh flowers since 2022 and has now entered into specialty grocers and florists in the Twin Cities. The resulting brand and package development allows for a consistent information navigation hierarchy, brand recognition and both seasonal and evergreen aesthetics, moving the pouch into a giftable space. 

We love watching this brand blossom and look forward to seeing it hit more shelves soon!
