Inside the Capsule: Employee Spotlight on Michelle

Get to know one of our designers, Michelle Bowitz.

What brought you to Capsule?
Capsule was my first gig after graduating from the University of Minnesota –Twin Cities. I was an intern during summer 2015 which evolved into a yearlong contracting position. After that, I traveled Europe and worked elsewhere but inevitably came back as a full-time designer!

What do you like to do outside of work?
I love hiking, camping and generally traveling anywhere and everywhere. Though while I’m home you can usually find me cooking - mainly with butter, cheese, salt, and more cheese. Yes, I’m a Wisconsin native.

Go-to karaoke song?
One Week by Sublime. “Chickity China the Chinese chicken” – yes its very, very bad.

What’s your favorite part of your job?
The Capsule comradery. Everyone is on the same team here, and is constantly pushing each other to become better whether that’s professionally or personally. Though the happy hours and charades come in a close second.

If you were in the Hunger Games, who at Capsule would you pick to be your ally?
Petra Tate, she’s Canadian and has bears in her backyard. Enough said.

What’s your dream job?
I’ve always dreamed of designing and traveling simultaneously. Hopefully one day I’ll be able to take work on the road and across the Atlantic.
