In this value, we celebrate the continual pursuit of the singular, stripped down, hardworking, unearthed diamond in the rough solutions that go further. 

Created with the least amount of ink and the most amount of introspection, Designing Simplicity was a practice of careful creation, examination and redaction of all things extraneous to reach clarified focus.

Representing a collection of disparate ideas that must converge, intersect and reconcile with one another to radiate back out as one distilled, compelling kernel of truth, the final composition captures that pure and radiating spark of simplicity we all strive towards.

From a distance, simple. Step closer or change your perspective, and its complexity reveals itself.  

Because when you boil it all down and remove the frills, bells and whistles, it doesn’t reduce the worth of the object in focus but reveals its true value.

All poster proceeds will benefit NEMAA, the Northeast Minneapolis Arts Association, a non-profit organization in our backyard supporting local artists with resources, promotion and fellowship, and best known for its annual production of Art-A-Whirl.
