Capsule Ups its Social Media Game

Capsule is pleased to announce the new hire of Angela Dirks as Director of Digital Strategy as Capsule continues to grow its social media and digital capabilities. Dirks comes from leadership roles on the Buffalo Wild Wings marketing and brand management teams and the brand design team at General Mills, managing packaging and campaigns for Haagen Dazs, Betty Crocker, Pillsbury, Totino’s and others. Through her years at General Mills, her focus shifted from the brand design team to establishing a new role within the company, leading strategic integration of General Mills’ portfolio of 100+ consumer brands across owned media platforms. Eventually, she evolved into a role serving as the voice of Betty Crocker and Pillsbury on social media.

Dirks is also Creative Mentor and Advisory Board Member for Art Buddies, a local organization that pairs creative mentors with underprivileged kids to help them take pride in who they are, what they can do and who they can become through the power of creativity.

Dirks will bring her expertise in social strategy, brand management and content design to Capsule and work with new and existing clients to help expand their social media strategies, drive social growth and manage social execution.
