Janie Hanson & Sam Ziegler
About the Speakers
We are zooming you to southern Minnesota to talk about agriculture, coalitions and the math of farming. We have Janie Hanson, founder of Croptomize, an app built to help farmers optimize the prices they can get for crops, and grow from what they sow. As cool as that is, Janie also founded Connect the Grey. She likes to stay busy. We also have Sam Ziegler, a founding member of GreenSeam the regional economic development organization.
Capsule has had the great fortune to work with both Sam and Janie. While that won’t be the primary focus of our conversation, it never hurts to have some great examples to point towards when discussing great messaging or design.
About Think & Link
We will again be discussing the topics of the week sparked by questions from my co-host Kelly Leighton and myself, Aaron Keller. We invented Think & Link during the last recession and have gratefully kept it going as a monthly event for a decade. As we all face these strange times, our team looks to do what we can do to help connect our friends and nourish their intellectual curiosity.
Think & Link, Pants Optional, is our way of giving something to our community as we seek new opportunities, friendships and professions.
Our format is a 30 minute Q&A discussion hosted by Kelly Leighton and Aaron Keller, of Capsule followed by a small group discussion where you’ll be able to meet and discuss the topic of the day for 25 minutes.
