Think & Link, Pants Optional
June 25th, 2020 - 8am CST
We have the noble voice (and face) of Chris Farrell, Senior Economics Contributor, Marketplace, Minnesota Public Radio alongside the man behind the keys, Lee Schafer, Star Tribune Columnist and past Think & Link speaker, when pants were not optional. We’ll be talking economics, businesses looking good coming out of the pandemic and perhaps a bit on the mediums of radio and newspaper. This will certainly be an engaging conversation with two great thinkers.
Our discussion will be sparked by questions from my co-host Kelly Leighton and myself, Aaron Keller. We invented Think & Link during the last recession and have gratefully kept it going as a monthly event for a decade. As we all face these strange times, our team looks to do what we can do to help connect our friends and nourish their intellectual curiosity.
The essence of creativity is connecting distinct and perhaps diverging concepts, ideas or thoughts to create something new. This same principle applies to connecting people in a safe, comfortable environment where pants are optional but inspiration is not.
Our format is a 30 minute Q&A discussion hosted by Kelly Leighton and Aaron Keller, of Capsule followed by a small group discussion where you’ll be able to meet and discuss the topic of the day for 25 minutes.
