Think & Link, Pants Optional
Think & Link; Pants Optional : November 19th, 9:00 am Pacific / 11:00 central
We have a future treat for our audiences this week, Amber Case, an american anthropologist from MIT Media Lab and Harvard, who studies human interactions with technology and our collective future. Paired with David Rose, from MIT Media Lab, Warby Parker, and Author of Enchanted Objects. Both of these guests have spoken extensively on the future, design in technology and our relationship with both.
Here is Dreams for Future Cities by David Rose and a talk on Calm Technology that Amber Case did in 2016 making reference to 2020. We’d highly recommend listening to these speeches before attending this event. You’ll get more out of it if you do.
This session will also include a dive into a Mural ideation in the background to explore 2021 and what we see on the near horizon.
Up for using a little extra gray matter this week?
As we all face these challenging times, our team looks to do what we can do to help connect our friends and nourish their intellectual curiosity. We will start by discussing the topics of the week sparked by questions from our co-hosts Kelly Leighton and Aaron Keller. And, then we’ll take questions from the audience.
Think & Link; Pants Optional, is our way of giving something to our community as we all seek new opportunities, friendships and professions. And, we’re a curious crew here at Capsule, so we’re always looking to learn from our significant network of thinkers and doers.
Our format is a 60 minute Q&A discussion hosted by Kelly Leighton and Aaron Keller, of Capsule with questions from our audience sprinkled into the conversation.
