Introducing: Amy Vold

Our newest Relationship Development Director and Capsule Crew member, Amy Vold, opens up about life, love and the pursuit of brands. Well... at least, two of the three.

What brings you to Capsule?

I was first introduced to Capsule by one of my mentors years ago when I was in college, but after graduating I started my career in the world of retail. I’ve spent over 8 years working in merchandising and helping brands come to life at retail. Most recently, I was in a marketing role where I gained experience in media analytics and digital campaigns. It was an amazing opportunity to work with one of the largest tech companies, but I realized that I missed the engagement with my clients. I am excited to develop relationships and help brands tell their stories!

Tell us about how you became interested in design!

I’ve had the opportunity to work with some amazing brands and loved to see how well they resonated with consumers when they had thoughtful design and packaging. My hope is to help brands make meaningful connections to people, and to elevate our clients in a way that is authentic to them.

What experiences do you bring to Capsule?

I bring experience in channel marketing, sales, account management and merchandising. I’ve collaborated with brands of all sizes across multiple categories from product development and packaging with private label piñatas and costumes, to launching national brands, to building growth strategies with global apparel and music groups, to my most recent role in tech partnering on marketing strategies at retail.
