Altierus Career College

ECMC Education partnered with Capsule to rebrand its Everest career college campuses. Following research and in-depth conversations, Capsule lead visual language efforts. Everest has re-emerged as Altierus, an institution focused on providing quality experiences that help students land good, family-supporting jobs in high-growth industries where skilled workers are lacking. Altierus is now in a position to reach its ultimate vision of becoming a third pathway for nontraditional students for whom community colleges and for-profit schools have not worked.

The name Altierus is inspired by their mission to provide a new, alternative pathway for students – something that will better serve them with a focus and drive better than community college may provide. They strive to be a best-in-class experience that is a tier above existing schooling models.

The new Altierus logo is anchored by the hint of an ‘A’ in the middle. It incorporates a central arrow that signifies the guidance and support Altierus provides its students. The spark-like energy and upward motion is indicative of the motivation and drive each student brings to their education. The three pieces coming together represents the third pathway Altierus provides for its students, as well as the community within each Altierus school.
