About Jeffrey Morris
Jeffrey is a Minneapolis-based writer, film director, production designer and entrepreneur. He founded FutureDude Entertainment in 2010 as a business vehicle that unifies his interests in science, education and the arts. Previously, he worked extensively as a commercial and documentary director in the 1990's for clients like the musician Prince, Musicland Group and Delta Airlines.
In the past decade, he created Alpha Prime -- a space science curriculum that won an award from the National Science Teachers Association. He also led education and public outreach for the Jet Propulsion Laboratory, NASA's Master Teachers Program, the International Space University and Lockheed Martin's Space Day. Jeffrey is currently involved in art direction for the New Horizons: One Earth message initiative that will place a time capsule on the Pluto-bound space probe.
His written publications include the illustrated screenplay Slingshot, which featured a foreword by Astronaut Buzz Aldrin, the graphic novel Venus: Daedalus One and the forthcoming comic book series Brainstorm and Parallel Man. Additionally, he is the inventor of the futuristic Timesphere history and calendar apps for the Apple iOS.
